I am an aquaculture expert with the ministry of fishereies in Eritrea. We have put five bee boxes in the aquafarm and we are surprised to see the bees collecting honey from halophytes ie. salicornia which we are cultivating in 70 ha. We call it HALOHONEY. The pic from Imidacloprid, bees, and potatoes at the top of this site is from a local newspaper here on PEI. We have no proof as yet that Admire is killing our bees. We need independent research. Gracias, también, a todos esos apicultores, científicos y técnicos apícolas, quienes con sus colaboraciones tanto enriquecen las páginas de APISERVICES. Puede que dentro de unos años, con la evolución que INTERNET forzosamente ha de experimentar, al echar la vista atrás y fijarnos en lo que hoy nos asombra sobre las enormes posibilidades de encontrar todo lo que busquemos sobre apicultura, nos provoque una sonrisa, pero a la cima solamente se llega subiendo esforzadamente por la pendiente. En todo caso, un BRAVO por la labor de APISERVICES y por su creador GILLES RATIA.

First time with bees as a young kid trying to capture a swarm and i knew nothing about them. later in live as a young man (32 yrs old) i spent a winter reading the abc,xyz's of beekeeping and then purchased my first hive and now i love to keep the bees. every year has something knew for me to learn. thanks for the bee-site here !!!
